The Newton Skatepark Petition The petition is now on our website and available for download. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the petition. If you are going to be collecting signatures, please contact Patrick Dierling by phone or email and let him know that you are doing so. We must keep track of all copies of the petition so that we can collect ALL signatures when we take this information to the Town.

www.skatersforpublicskateparks.com - A great site for learning how to get a skatepark built in your town. There is tons of useful information on this website and a great discussion forum to learn all aspects of skatepark advocacy. Take the time and go here. You won’t regret it.

www.newtontownhall.com - This is the Town of Newton’s official website. All of your local representatives are listed here as well as a schedule of town council and recreation department meetings.

www.tonyhawkfoundation.org - This is another great resource for skatepark advocacy. There is a very good article on how to get a skatepark built in your town. Check it out here. They also award grant money to projects similar to ours. We will be applying for this grant. Keep your fingers crossed!
